Discover the Magic of Christmas at a Paper Daisy Christmas Makers Fair this Winter!

It’s certainly starting to feel like Christmas is on the horizon now that the weathers turned, I’ve already dug out my Christmas jumpers and winter woolies 🥶 And there’s no better way to get into the festive mood than visit some Christmas Fairs and Markets! This year, we’re thrilled to present not just one but four events with six dates in total, perfect for finding unique gifts and handcrafted treasures.



Here’s when and where you can join us to make the most of your Christmas shopping… starting with this weekend!

Winter Makers Fair

  • Date: Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November

  • Where: The British Engineerium, The Droveway, Hove, BN3 7QA

  • Time & Entry: 10:30am - 4:30pm both days. Free entry.

  • Highlights: The Winter Makers Fair is the perfect place to kickstart your Christmas shopping. With over 85 exhibitors each day from ceramics, jewellery, original artwork, skincare, artisan chocolates, small batch food producers, local wines, gin and rum, Brighton and hove inspired gifts and so much more to explore.

  • Added Attractions:

    • There will be a pop-up bar and cafe with artisan bakes and treats

    • Face painting - all weekend

    • Italian Food (to eat there or take away)

    • International artist, Nick Sayers, will be bringing along his Bicycle Drawing Machine where you or your little ones can have a go! (Sunday only)

  • Engineerium Musuem Opening: The musuem will be open to visitors between 12-4pm both days!

Christmas Makers Fair - Saltdean

  • Date: Sun 1st December

  • Where: Saltdean Lido, The Oval Park, Saltdean Park Rd, Saltdean, Brighton BN2 8SP

  • Time & Entry: 11am - 4:30pm. Free entry.

  • Highlights: Discover over 40 quality local makers and artists in the recently restored Ballroom & Lounge at the Lido.

  • Added Attractions:

    • Little ones can meet Olaf and get their faces painted

    • Head to the Festive Creative Studio located in the West Wing for wreath making sessions - choose from traditional or kitsch style!

    • Take a break from all the shopping and visit The Deco Cafe or Restaurant for a delicious brunch or Sunday lunch.


Christmas Makers Fair - Shoreham

  • Date: Saturday 7th December

  • Where: The Shoreham Centre, 2 Pond Road, Shoreham by Sea, BN43 5WU

  • Time & Entry: 10am - 3:30pm. Free entry.

  • Highlights: Our Shoreham Makers Fair is renowned for its curated selection of arts and crafts exhibitors. Discover a whole host of small businesses and find unique gifts that have been lovingly handcrafted.

  • Added Attractions:

    • Live lunchtime performance from The Messengers Choir

    • Wreath making workshops run by local florists, Bunches of Sussex

    • Children’s craft zone - Christmas card making, Christmas decoration crafting, biscuit decorating, pom-pom making and more

    • Face painting

    • A visit from Olaf

    • Pop-up cafe with festive treats

Christmas Makers Fair - Brighton

  • Date: Sat 14th & Sun 15th December

  • Where: Wagner Hall, 2 Regency Road, Brighton, BN1 2RU

  • When & Entry: 10:30am - 4:30pm both days. Free entry.

  • Highlights: The final fair of the Winter season promises to be a spectacular closing event for Paper Daisy, with an inside hall packed full of exhibitors and a beautiful outdoor setting lit by fairy lights - in the heart of Brighton. With over 50 makers joining us each day, it’ll be the perfect place to pick up any last minute thoughtful gifts this year!

  • Added Attractions:

    • The Fig Tree Garden!

    • Pop-up bar with warming mulled wine and cider

    • Italian street food trader, Boella, will be serving up delicious pizzas and panuozzo’s

    • Wreath Making workshops with local florists, Bunches of Sussex (pre-booking advised)

    • Indoor pop-up cafe hosted by Seashore Bakes serving up sweet and savoury treats and festive bakes

These fairs are all about celebrating and supporting local artists, makers and small businesses. Each and every purchase made at these events help small businesses to thrive!
