11AM - 4:30PM (with at least one hour to set up)

The impressive, recently restored, Art Deco building makes the perfect venue for you to capture a new audience of local residents from areas of Saltdean, Rottingdean, Ovingdean, Woodingdean, Telscombe & Peacehaven as well as visitors from further afield.

Held on a Sunday and with the beautiful café, bar and popular restaurant open too, it has the potential to really excite, particularly with very few similar larger events in the area.

We also have a room available solely for workshops which the venue have indicated should be very well supported by the local community - if you have some ideas for a workshop, get in touch asap!

Sorry, we can’t accept any food stalls to be consumed on site such as baked goods.

 FAQs

  • Yes there is a large carpark free to visitors & exhibitors.

    You can unload immediately outside the building briefly if you put your hazards on and leave enough space for cars to pass, then go to the car park and find a spot.

  • We welcome applications from food/drinks such as sauces, jams, chocolates, bottles but we can't accept food/drink sellers that serve food on site (e.g baked goods) due to the café/restaurant/bar being open.

  • Chairs are provided for all pitches.

    Tables are provided (6ft and 4ft) for some pitches but you can also apply to bring your own.

  • Yes, but is limited. I will do my best to ensure everyone who requires electricity has access. You will need to bring your own extension leads and ensure everything is PAT tested.

  • The Ballroom & Lounge are both upstairs but there is a lift (and stairs).

    I will have signs/large board inside to direct visitors so they know where to find us (if they're not familiar with the Lido already).

  • Yes, we’re happy for exhibitors to share 6ft pitches but please list both businesses on application. Unfortunately the 4ft tables aren’t suitable for sharing as they are too small.

  • As always, I pride myself on a full marketing campaign for each event, and of course this will be no different.

    Each exhibitor will be featured across our socials and website & we will provide you with numerous graphics for your own social media channels.

    We also expect you to advertise on your platforms for further awareness and you’re welcome to use any of our images/graphics on our socials as well as the ones we provide for you. We also welcome collaborative posts on IG.

  • Yes, the venue has wifi.

 

The beautiful restored Saltdean Lido is easily accessible via the A259.

Bus routes 27, 47, Coaster 12/12a are all a few mins walk away making it easy to get to via the bus.
